Labour Party reacts to El-rufai's outburst on his alleged house arrest in Anambra

Following an outburst by the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai alleging that the Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi ordered his arrest in 2013, Labour Party has reacted to the outburst.

It could be recalled that El-Rufai had on Monday while addressing the Arewa Joint Committee organised for presidential candidates, said he would have arrested Peter Obi in Kaduna State as allegedly done to him in Anambra State.

The Labour Party while reacting to the outburst through its spokesperson, Comrade Abayomi Arabambi said it received with shock the Statement by the Governor of Kaduna State and APC Chieftain, Nasir El rufai threatening that if he wishes he can order the arrest of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi

The Party said, "El rufai is alluding to the allegation that he was arrested on the order of Peter Obi when he was the Governor of Anambra State.

" We would not have otherwise dignified El-rufai with a response but for the fact that he made the allegation at the gathering of eminent Northerners at the epic gathering

"This further confirmed our stand that the ruling APC is intolerant of opposition and is scared of the towering image of the Labour Party Candidate.

"We however take exception to the threat that he has combined forces of all the security apparatus at his disposal.

Labour Party reminded Nigerians that " this is the same Governor that always cries to the Federal Government to save his state from Banditry and Terrorism 

"His state is so unsafe that he secretly withdrew his son from public schools when his state was overwhelmed by a State of insecurity.

"One begins to wonder where he suddenly got the control of the Security Apparatus that he Intend   to unleash on the Candidate of the Labour party

The Party then called on "President Buhari and indeed all the Service Chiefs to take note of this utterance and take urgent action to call Elrufai to order.

"This is an indication and a dangerous signal that El-rufai will not hesitate to unleash his lapdogs on the Labour Party because of the fear of defeat awaiting his party at the Poll.

"El-rufai is just afraid of his own shadow, especially his satanic action when he was the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory where he demolished people's houses and reallocated the Land to his cronies

"One will not forget in a hurry, the jumbo allowances he allocated to a Female Corper serving in his Ministry back then.
