The Lagos State Police Command has declared two women who were allegedly caught  engaging in Lesbianism in  Igaanmu area of the State, wanted.

An impeccable source within the command who craved anonymity 
disclosed this to The Living Guide Newspaper online,stressing that the command took the decision,as a fall out to increase in same sex cases in the State in the last six months.



The source who gave the names of the suspects as Adedoyin Adewetan and Barakat, said the lid of the women's shaddy deal blew open ,late last year, when one of their friends stumbled on the telephone of  Adedoyin ,where she saw the two friends, fondling with each other's breasts and also making love.


"The Command at a recent parley which  was attended by some top Police Officers and major stakeholders  expressed concern over the alarming  rate at which men and women engage in same sex in the state in the last couple of months" the source said.

He explained that the command at the last count,had investigated no fewer  than thirty same sex cases ,adding "In January,eight , February ,six, March,five, April,2 while twelve suspects were caught between May and June.

Some of the suspects, according to the source were prosecuted and
  sentenced to various jail terms to serve as deterrent to those who still  engage in such act.

He explained that the Command ,at the meeting  vowed to smoke the two wanted women out out of their hidings to make them face prosecution.

 "Findings by the Command showed that the two friends have been engaging in this nefarious act since not less than two years ago,before they were implicated by one Rachael ,who the command learnt was very close to  them" the source revealed.

 He noted that the Command had urged the public to avail it of any information that could lead to the arrest of the women,who he said, are currently evading arrest.

It would be recalled that the command  recently declared two men Umoh Bassey and his friend Chukwudi Eze ,wanted for alleged gay" 

Adedoyin Adewetan,he noted was the mastermind of the offence,saying  that all hands were  on deck to get them arrested.


He noted that the command viewed Homosexuality to be against the law of our Land .


"The Police have vowed, to get rid of criminal elements who engage in same sex" he added,saying that any information given to the Police on the duo's whereabouts,would be  treated with utmost secrecy.
